The club has been building up its collection since it was founded in the late nineteenth century and continues to sponsor monthly shows of emerging artists and to purchase significant works of contemporary art. I think there are tours of the collection that are open to the public. . . . the building itself (dating from the 1920s) is worth seeing. . . .
