Once in a while I go to that very fine chocolate store too. It is very costly-a pound of their pre-made candy box is $72 !!!!!………Hope you did not over-indulge !
Celia says
I bought one chocolate bunny and it didn’t break the bank. . . . The little girl in me loves looking at their special flower-boxed chocolates but I would never spring for them. . . . Partly it’s just a pleasure to look at the bright colors of this small interior and at such beautiful and precisely made edible treats–it isn’t necessary that I eat them!

I absolutely love Teuscher! Their chocolate is soooo smooth and rich! Walking in the store is honestly like a burst of spring so winter no longer looks so bleak in Chicago… until you walk outside again! If you make it to Switzerland, Teuscher chocolates are a bit cheaper (so stock up!), and the Swiss just adore the champagne truffles that cost a fortune.
Celia says
Yum! The champagne truffles are complex and delicious–I have never been to the “mother ship”–would love to go.
