I stopped to admire the beautiful colors of Pasta Palazzo the other night, incurious about its food, but smitten with its blending of the old and the new, its rainbow interior boxed up in a Louis Sullivan-era package. So often businesses bungle the way they occupy historical buildings. These people got it right, their eclectic sign perfectly complementing the frothy old terra cotta.

I know where that Restaurant is but had never noticed the terra cotta before. It is near Halsted and Armitage and that is a busy area where there are a fair amount of bars and restaurants. One of my favorites is The Rustic House; it is very good but also quite expensive…………….One day I’ll try that pasta place; soon I hope. Still I have not been feeling too well, a lousy spring cold has set upon me plus a cough and heavy body aches and I am also very, very weak and tired all the time. I hope healing will occur rapidly.

I love the Rustic House.
Get well soon, Harley! It’s no fun to be sick.
