Shoveling the stairs

A long flight of shoveled stairs ascends toward a house.

I like to shovel the stairs, but it was arduous during a stretch when it snowed most days.

  1. Geez, that is a lot of stairs to shovel. I congratulate you on a job well done! Must have gotten a good workout from doing it. In my day, I’ve shoveled many a stair–many, many a stair. Sometimes the snow would be light, sometimes wetter, sometimes icy and that is the hardest of all.
