Nice picture of the lily pond, good cloud reflections. The man in the stripped shirt sure does have a big belly ! Kind of funny to look at !!
Celia says
Yes, I agree.

I hear so much negative press about Chicago. It’s really good to see the positive side of the city. This is a great photo with the lilies among the cloud reflection. A very well-composed photograph. I like the title too. It made me smile. Oddly, the titles that people give their photographs tell me a great deal about the photographer! 🙂 I like your world view.
Celia says
Thank you, George. Your appreciate remarks always make me feel so . . . competent! This picture is of Madison, which is partly why it’s so lovely. But I do try to present to good side of Chicago, too. . . . Thank you again. (I love your new bird!)

Shirt check! 😉 We have lilies growing in a pond in our front yard. It was surprising the first time I saw a frog actually sitting on a pad.
Celia says
I would love to have a water garden in my yard–lucky you! There were many frogs on many lily pads that day, and I took some marvelous pictures, which I’ve been too busy to post. It would be fun to do a feature on the different creatures can sit on a lily leaf–it would include ducklings–so sweet.
Janet says
Ducklings, too? How cute!
